About the Role:

The Network Operations Support Engineer will act as a Cloud Platform Engineer with a focus on building, managing, and optimizing highly reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native infrastructure. This position bridges the gap between development, operations, and SRE, ensuring smooth Kubernetes operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure (load balancers, networking, storage, etc.).
  • Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ArgoCD for GitOps automation.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, applying SRE principles for improved reliability.
  • Develop automation scripts/tools in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams for smooth integration and deployment.
  • Implement and maintain security standards for Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
  • Optimize resource usage for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Kubernetes production environment experience.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes cluster operations, networking, storage, and security.
  • Proven skills in AWS, Azure, and GCP core services and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Go, or Java.
  • Familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLOs, error budgets, and postmortems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work in US time zone hours.

Work Timing:

Must be able to work from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST to provide US time zone coverage.
